So how do busy moms get their crafts done in time for Christmas? Book the time. Cara is working on Christmas cards this year and I am making hair clips, doll diapers, a cloth book and pillowcases for gifts. Last week me made the commitment to craft on Thursday nights. Jeff takes Parker to judo, drops him off and then goes to watch Survivor with his aunt. The girls are in bed by 7:30 and Cara gets to escape bedtime at her house.
We have peace and quiet, can chat if we like or watch Thursday night tv while we work. I think Joanne might be joining us.
It's great knowing we have this time set aside to get these projects done. We're both procrastinators. There are times when I think about getting my stuff out but remember our craft date. It's easier to do when you aren't multitasking.
